In this final tableau there are five characters, adults and teen agers, together to reiterate the Prometheus’ technè consideration and the know-how handing down as an unlimited practice, aimed to upset the human nature.
Anna and Arianna, thirteen and fifteen years old, are the weavers of the choreographic plot.
They burst into the three adults actions, as the Oceanine chorus which came first to the chained Prometheus, and in unison, with a measured, clean and little by little more authoritative acting they sign the trajectories of the entire path, scanning the steps of a possible dialogue between different ages, goals and perspectives.
Their dance becomes the landscape in which to explore sudden epiphanies, the plot of wishes and surprise, the impossibility to stop. There’s a lot of strength but also weakness and displacement/imbalance too, same as when we face something we cannot predict.
The growing body throws itself and overlaps the mature one.
The adult observes the teenager and internalizes/introjects electric impulses and peremptory exercises.
The just learned knowledge becomes embedded and sets itself up to the next vertigo.
It’s a flame that does not extinguish. And the horizon stays suspended between the possibily of falling or elevation.

“This dance refers to an ancestral and contemporary unconscious, to a floating, round, ruffled microcosm, with the two Oceanine and their synchronous gestures which scan with brief verses the choreographic framework, in which the space mark is geometrical and fragmented, bright and dark”.

Giuseppe Distefano, Danza & Danza – January- February  2017

“One beside the other, the performers throw themselves in the creation of complex and composed shapes, in which the building of the self-action (with the research of different path, series and behaviors) interchanges with the enveloping jumble of the group, and the focus on the clear effort comes up beside the energy running out, exploding the shapes. Everything without a beginning nor an end, but in a strong turnover that seems not willing to run it selves out”.
